There are two basic options when researching which IVA provider you want to represent you:

One option is to work directly with the licensed Insolvency Practitioner to put your IVA in place. However, once the meeting of the creditors is held your insolvency practitioner does have a legal duty to represent the best interests of your creditors within the IVA going forward.

The second option is to work with an independant organization that will represent the debtor and liase between the debtor and their firm of insolvency practioners regarding the IVA. A third-party will represent the best interests of the debtor before and after the creditor acceptance of the IVA.
