A Nominee is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner that is willing to represent the consumer and put forth an Individual Voluntary Arrangement proposal and act on behalf of the consumer.

It is usually the case that the Nominee also becomes the Supervisor of the Individual Voluntary Arrangement after the Creditors Meeting has been held.
