This applies to all Bankruptcies commenced after 1 April 2004.

It is a fee of 17% of all deposits into a Bankruptcy over and above the first £2,000 deposited, up to a maximum agregate fee of £100,000.

The fee is deducted from monies deposited. Any Bankruptcies that commenced prior to 1 April 2004 are charged an Advalorem Fee which is calculated on a sliding scale with no maximum agregate fee.
