Debt collectors in the UK have been given new powers to collect debts at a time when consumers are facing growing economic tension and uncertainty. Under the new regulations debt collectors would be allowed to force their way into home, restrain residents and seize property in order to pay off credit card bills.

Having spoken to a few people this week regarding their financial situation a couple of things were brought up in each of the conversations.  One was their plans for Christmas and Boxing Day, and the other was their holiday plans for next year.

More and more I am hearing from people who cannot meet their monthly obligations to their debts and want to find a way to service the debts without affecting their credit history or credit score.
